2010 Mustang Football Booster Club

The Downers Grove South Football program receives most of it's support from the activities of the Booster Club and all of it's members.

The Boosters will be taking a different approach to the 2010 season.  Instead of holding numerous fundraisers throughout the season, the Booster Club will be asking for a donation of $200 for Freshman and Sophomore players and $275 for Varsity players.

This amount was derived from taking the total estimated player expenses and dividing by the estimated number of players participating in the 2010 season.  The Varsity contribution is higher due to the inclusion of the player's contribution for Varsity dinners.

To assist with the Booster Club finances and planning for the season, we ask that the donations be made by August 1st.  Families can make 2 payments if that is more convenient.  The payments can be dropped off to Coach Belskis' office at anytime.  It is recommended that the first portion of the donation be dropped off before school is out on June 3rd.

In addition, the Boosters have asked each family to volunteer 10 hours of service to the program.  The volunteer hours are an essential element to our club.  It is important that all families share in the responsibility of providing a memorable experience for our players.  This volunteer work includes helping out at Jog-A-Thon, Work-A-Thon, concessions, etc.  There are plenty of opportunities for all families to volunteer service hours to the program.
