2010 DGS FOOTBALL SEASON
The DGS Football Boosters will be taking a different approach for the 2010 football season. Instead of holding numerous fundraisers throughout the season, the Booster Club will be accepting contributions of $200 for Freshmen and Sophomores and $275 for Varsity players.
The amount was derived from taking the total estimated player expenses and dividing by the estimated number of players participating in the 2010 season. The Varsity contribution is higher due to the inclusion of the player's contribution for Varsity dinners.
To assist our club finances, we would appreciate the contributions by August 10, 2010. Contributions can be dropped off at Coach Belskis’ office at any time.
In addition, the Boosters have asked each family to volunteer 10 hours of service to the program. The volunteer service hours are an essential element to our club. It is important for all families to share in the responsibility of providing a memorable experience for our athletes. This volunteer work includes helping out at Jog-A-Thon, Work-A-Thon, concessions, etc. There are plenty of opportunities for all families to volunteer service hours to the football program.
SUMMARY:
Camp (to DGS) $75-90 (varies by level of player)
Athletic fee (to DGS) $115
Player contribution $200
$275 for Varsity players
